Commentary for I Chronicles 16:3

וַיְחַלֵּק֙ לְכָל־אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאִ֖ישׁ וְעַד־אִשָּׁ֑ה לְאִישׁ֙ כִּכַּר־לֶ֔חֶם וְאֶשְׁפָּ֖ר וַאֲשִׁישָֽׁה׃

And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.

and a portion of meat - Heb. אֶשְּׁפָּר, one sixth of a bull.

and a flask of wine - Heb. וַאֲשִּׁישָּׁה one sixth of a “hin,” similar to (Hos. 3:1): “goblets (אֲשִּׁישֵּׁי) of grapes,” a flask.
